Answer #1
First you need to find the force or magnitude exerted by each charge.
you are going to have to use the equation F=kq1q2/r^2

First F12=(9.0*10^9)(2.1*10^-6)(4.2*10^-6)/(.3…
Don't forget to transfer cm to m and micro coulomb to coulomb
F12= .52189
You will have to plug in each magnitude in to the equation, there is a total if three magnitudes acting on q2.
F23=.7828
F24=.52189
for F24 r=.39 square root 2 =.5515
Now you need to take in account the direction of each magnitude and find the x and y components of each magnitude.
Fx= -F23-F24cos45
Fy= F24sin45 -F12
plug in the values in here and solve for F
F= square root (Fx^2+Fy^2)

Answer #2
Use the formula E=kq/r^2 and find out E. Then use the equation F=qE and obtain the value of F. But don't forget to convert cm into metre and micro coulomb into coulomb. After doing this, u will get final answer in N (newton)
