\a) The correlation coefficient bw the no. of students and marks obtained is 0.9657988.

b) As the magnitude of correlation coefficient is positive , this means that the number of students and marks are positively related. As the correlation coefficient is quite high, this means that they are strongly linearly related. One with large no. of students will score better in end semester exam.

c) The scatter diagram is given above.
