Let B denote boy and G denote girl.

We need the order BBBBGG

Required probability = (0.5)6 =0.1563

2) Since ordering is not considered, this becomes a case of binomial probability

Binomial probability is given by,

P(X=x)=inom{n}{x}p^{x}(1-p)^{n-x}

where ,

n is the number of trials

x is the number of successes

p is the probability of success

Given,

p=0.5(outcomes are equally likely)

x=4

n=6
