The osmotic pressure of a saturated solution of strontium sulfate at 25 C is 21 torr.What is the solubility product of this salt at 25 C?

Step1 Osmotic pressure = concentration x gas constant x Temperature

Step2 concentration= ( 21/760) /.0821 x 298 = 1.13x10^-3 Moles/litre

Step4 Ksp = [Sr+2][SO4-2] = [1.13x10^-3]^2 = 1.277x10^-6
