A pleasant African American woman tina Jones complaints of shortness of breath and wheezing and asthma attack foundout two days ago..

Nursing assessment:

Patient reports recent asthma attack with wheezing and shortness of breath.

Uses inhaler more than prescribed dose noticed now that is less effective.

Cats,dust and some activity are asthma trigger

Her oxygen saturation 97%

FVC is 3.91L and FEV1/FVC ratio is 80.56%

Wheeze and slight prolonged expiration upon auscultating lower posterior lungs..
