Impact of diversity in Australia's ever changing social, economic, political and cultural landscape:

The quality of being diverse or different is called Diversity. Australia is rich in multiple cultures, linguistically diverse population and a wide variety of indigenous population. This diversity had a great impact in Australia's cultural, economic and social environment.  

* Impact of diversity in economy:

Australian economy got benefited by the diversity . Cultural diversity had given a wide variety of opportunities for exports related income from ethnic products, crafts etc. Many tourists got attracted by the different cuisines and the cultural diverse areas of Australia. That also benefited the economy.  

* Impact of diversity in employment:

Australian population diversity has impacted the employment sector of Australia. Many immigrants from different countries contributed to the employment sector of Australia. Their participation increased productivity and creativity of the companies and organisations . Many buisiness benefited from different perspectives, and innovative ideas , expressed from members of diverse groups, such as country, culture, religion etc. Diversity in the population had some negative impacts also i the employment sector such as miscommunications, dysfunctional adaptation behaviours and emotional barriers etc in the work place.

* Impact of diversity in social area:

Australian society got impacted by the different cultural , language and religious groups. Australian ' way of life' became influenced by multiculturalism . Social interactions got influenced by diversity in population. It increased less rigid gender roles and cross border mobility. Australians become more adapted to different cultures and languages. Living standards of Australians improved greatly.

* Impact of diversity in cultural landscape:

Many cultures got integrated by other cultures and produced a modern culture that has the traces of traditional culture. Immigration increased the diversity of Australian culture. Indigenous culture, ethnicity, race got mixed with western influence, but some ethnic groups still keeps their race and culture purity, without mixing it with any other culture. Different religious groups contributed to the cultural diversity of Australia. Present Australians adapted Many festivals and traditions from indigenous groups and also from religious groups.

  

* Impact of diversity in politics:

Australian politics landscape is greatly influenced by its diversity of population . Aboriginals makes 2 to 3 % of Australian population , others are mostly immigrants, consist of around 300 ancestries. Australian political leaders and commentators are from different backgrounds and is one of the successful harmonious multicultural nation around the globe. But the current trend is that The leaders are mainly from Anglo- Celtic back ground and 95 % of leadership in the politics are handling by this group. Onl 5% are from other groups, including the Aboriginal and Torres islanders.  

Impact of changes in Economic, social, cultural and political landscape on Australian diversity:

Australia's changing social, employmental, economical, cultural and political atmosphere has impacted the Diversity of the Country greatly. Economic benefits and opportunities for employment made many rural and indigenous people and families to migrate to the towns and cities in the previous decades, gradually their traditional and cultural practices got mixed with the other communities and culture. Many young people from the indigenous groups are unaware about the traditional practices, cuisines of forefathers and they enjoy the western life, that they copied from the Europeans. Many aboriginal traits are losing their racial purity and mixed with other community members.  

Social medias increased the opportunity for social cohesion. Australian politics are involving the leaders from indigenous groups to reduce the inequalities. Many Health programmes are launched by the Australian Government to reduce the discrimination and inequalities in Healthcare delivery system in the country. Many people from aboriginals and Torres islanders are got employment in health sectors and other industries due to changes in Government policies and innovative programmes that aimed to reduce the discrimination in the country.  

Migrants are encouraged by the Government by providing goods, services and other benefits. The country got benefited by the Diversity in population and the Country now supports the existing diversity and the different population groups, so that everyone in the country should be benefited irrespective of the culture, language and race.
