Anxiety

Depression

Certain eating disorders have a psychological

element, including:

Anorexia

Bulimia

#. Psychological factors can lead to malnutrition by reducing food intake, interfering with digestion and absorption, or altering nutrient metabolism and excretion.

2. Nutrition Assessment

Ensures that appropriate and accurate data are collected in order to determine the existence of specific nutrition problems and their severity.

These data must be organized and categorized according to possible nutrition diagnoses.
