International classification of disease 10th revision procedure coding system is an international system of medical classification using for coding of procedure. These codes can track various medical plans or health related intervention undertaken by medical professionals. It is a modification of ICD 10. It can be used in inpatient department of the hospital to plan for health intervention. It's about 87000 codes are developed. It is made up of combination of numbers and letters. There are 17 sections which relates to the type of intervention being performed. The sections are medical and surgical, obstetrics, placement, administration, measurement and monitoring, imaging etc
