Answer #1
Supplies                                                   132 Note payable                              221
3/8 1,300.00 3/27 600.00 3/20 1,900.00 3/5 11,000.00
3/17 500.00 3/31 3,500.00
Bal 1,200.00 Bal 5,600.00

Calculations:

Balance of supplies account = 1300+500 - 600 = $1,200. This is a debit balance and will be entered as an asset in balance sheet.

Balance in notes payable = 11000-1900-3500 = 5600. This is a credit balance and will be entered as a liability in balance sheet.
