Answer #1

Answer:

Since we know that

Moles of element=mass of element/molar mass of element.

Therefore

Moles of Cl=mass of Cl/molar mass of Cl=grams Cl/molar mass Cl

Grams of Cl=moles of Cl x molar mass of Cl.

Molar mass of Cl=35.453 g/mol.

Therefore moles Cl x 35.453 g/mol=grams Cl.

Moles Cl x 35.453 grams/1 mol=grams Cl.

(In numanator, number is 35.453 and unit is grams. In denominator, number is 1 and unit is mol)

Please let me know if you have any doubt. Thanks
