Answer #1

Fy = F1 sin 60 + F2 sin 75 = 129 sin 60 + 88 sin 75 = 196.71 N
Fx = F1 cos 60 + F2 cos 75 = 129 cos 60 + 88 cos 75 = 87.27 N
resultant force,
F = \sqrt{} (Fy2 + Fx2) = 215.19 N
direction = tan-1(Fy / Fx) = 66.07

a) 215.19 N & 66.07 counterclockwise from x axis shown

the force to make net force zero is the resultant force acting in opposite direction so

answer to second question is
b) 215.19 N & direction = (180 + 66.07 ) = 246.07 counterclockwise from x axis shown
