1. MYOCARDITIS - is a disease by the inflammation of the heart muscle called as myocardium. It is the muscular layer of the heart and is responsible ( contraction and relaxation )to pump blood in and out of the heart and also to the rest of the body.

2. PERCARDITIS - is an inflammation of the pericardial sac ( the lining of the heart). It is a collection of fluid in the pericardial sac which causes inflammation and is likely due to viral infection.

3. ENDOCARDITIS - is an inflammation of the heart valves and chambers. Ineffective endocarditis or rheumatic fever is an inflammatory disease caused by group A Streptococcus bacteria.

4. CARDIAC ARREST - it happens during an arrhythmia where the heart beat too fast or too slow or with an irregular rhythm. Some arrhythmias can caause the heart to stop which results in cardiac arrest or heart attack.

5. ANEURYSM - a localized abnormal dilation of blood vessel usually by an artery caused by weakness of the vessel wall.

6. THROMBOPHLEBITIS - refers to the formation of blood clot ( thrombus) associated with phlebitis ( inflammation of veins).

7. VARICOSE VEIN - are tortuous and dialted blood vessels caused by a weakening in the vessel wall.
