f = 5.51 cm

object distance, u = -12.1 cm

Using lens formula

1/f = 1/v - 1/u

1/5.51 = 1/v - 1/(-12.1)

v = 10.11 cm

the image distance is 10.11 cm

as the image distance is positive

hence , the image is real

and the image is inverted
