Explain what barriers are associated with disparities in health literacy across communities and families.

Health literacy is very important for every individual to live a healthy and a long life . Now a days many initiatives are taken by govt.and private sector health department to decrease disparity in health literacy but still there are some barriers that are associated with them

for example

1. Poverty:-poor individuals manily suffer from chronic disease like cardiac diseases and diabetes thyroid problems cancer that remain hidden for a long time and when they notices their symptoms and go to see a physician it's became too late
2. Inadequate Access to health care :- some people used to avoid going to a doctor for their regular health check ups and even if they will see any symptoms they used to avoid them thinking of that they will be all right by taking a single medicine there's nothing wrong with them.
3. Educational inequality:- many people in developed and in developing countries are now a days becoming drug addict substance abuse or getting involved in some crimes just because they are school drop outs and they are not getting any mode of earning their livelihoods and to avoid this stress they need drugs and to buy drugs they need money.
