Thus the weight of ammonium phosphate is 18.1 grams

Volume of solution is 500 mL

We have the molecular mass of ammonium phosphate = 149 g/mol

Molarity of the solution can be calculated from the formula

Molarity = (Weight / Molar mass) (1000 / Volume of solution in mL)

Therefore the molarity of ammonium phosphate

= (18.1 g /149 g/mol) (1000 mL /500 mL)

= (18.1x2)/149 = 0.24295 M

Thus the required molarity of ammonium phosphate is 0.24295 M.
