For a cultural group different from your own, list three culturally based behaviors that may not promote health, and explain how you would provide respectful health promotion education to that cultural group.

Aboriginal community are considered to be the Torres Islander groups and Indegeious communities in Australia. These communities have certain values and behavior or traits that present as barriers for health promotion and achieving well being.

Use of illicit drug use and substances is very common among the community, the individual believes the use of these substances to be right and good for them. These values present as major factor in [promoting health in this community.

Poor housing and sanitation and lack of sense for personal hygiene- the community lacks in sense of hygiene and has poor housing and sanitation. that cause high prevalence of infectious diseases and high spread. This is one factor that present as barrier for health promotion.

Cultural values and belief- the community believes in conservative and reserved approaches and restricts education and use of any services that again creates issues in promoting health.

To promote health among this community and provide health education among them I would like to frame a person based approach and community focused approach where their believes and values are respected and supported but the education is promoted to modify their belief regarding health and well being,
