log(K2) - log(K1) = E/2.303R [1/T1 - 1/T2]

log(K2) - log(3.45×10-2) = 145000/2.303×8.314 [1/283 - 1/303]

log(K2) + 1.462 = 7572.93 [0.003335 - 0.003300]

log(K2) = 7572.93×0.000035 - 1.462

log(K2) = -1.1969

K2 = 10-1.1969 = 0.06355 = 6.35×10-2 M-1​​​​ s-1​​​​​​

23) a) Yes. Intermediate is HOI and OH-

b) No.

c) Net reaction :

HOOH + 2I- + 2H3O+ -> I 2 + 4H2O
