Write in detail the steps of Adult, Infant and Child cardiopulmonary resuscitation , automated external defibrillator use and Relief of choking unconscious and conscious.
Treatment for an unconscious Adult chocking victim:
- call 911
- make the victim lay down face up on the floor..
- use one hand to support the victims chin..use the thumb of hand to depress the victims tongue with the palm and fingers..some time lift the jaw.use the index finger of the opposite hand to clear any foreign material inside the victims mouth..
- tilt the head back and raise the chin..Attempt to ventilate the victim if airway not opened- reposition on the head and clear it again..
-if the chest doesn't rise start compression
- the rescuer kneel next to the victims and keep his hands over each other in the middle of the victims chest.. provide 15compression with alternate series of 15compression and 2 rescue breaths to clear the victim airway and ventilate .
- stop compression when the object is ejected,when breathing successful make the victim in the recovery position..
If CPR unsuccesful start automated external defibrillator
- attach the electrode pads on the victims bare chest..
-if 2 or 3 rescuers are there continue CPR and make sure nobody touching the victim while the defibrillator analysis the rhythm..
- push shock button AED deliver shock automatically..
- restart CPR at a ratio of 30:2
- continue as directed above.
For children and infants
- call 911
- check child conscious level
- make the back and face,head in the straight line .
- tilt head back slightly,lift chin
- check quickly bresthing pattern
- if no breathing give 2rescue breathing.
- tilt the head back and lift the chin up.
-if it is child,pinch the nose and cover child entire mouth to provide breathing.
- blow in for about one second to make the chest clear.
- give rescue breaths one after the other.
-if no breathing start chest compression
- push child chest 2inches deep
- push infants chest 1 inche deep
- provide 100compression per minute
- provide rescue breathing and chest compression one after other.
- do not stop CPR until you find the breathing.
- if no breathing found start automated external defibrillator
- wipe the bare chest to dry
- attach pads in front to back pad placement on chest..
- start the connector
- stand clear no one touching the infant or child
- Analyse the chest thythm
- After delivering the shock perform CPR and continue the AED..
If the child is in conscious stage
- give 5back blows by holding the child forearm at the waist 5 blows between the shoulder blades with the heel of one hand..
- give 5abdominal thrusts by covering your fist with other hand give 5quick upward abdominal thrusts..
- continue 5 backblow and 5 abdominal thrusts until the object is comeout.
In case of infant:
Give 5 backblows by heel of your hand in the infants shoulder blades.
- place one or two fingers in the center of the infant chest just below the nipple line compress breast bone for 1& half inches..
- continue 5backblows and 5chest thrusts until the object forced out..
- provide 100compression per minute
- provide rescue breathing and chest compression one after other..
