The motion diagram shown accelerating motion.

1.An ice skater would have uniform velocity and hence have equally spaced numbers.

2. An airplane braking to a stop would be the reverse of the diagram because it would be retarding.

3. the car pulling away from the stop sign is accelerating so the distance moved per unit time is increasing. Hence this would be the correct answer.

4. A pool ball after reversing direction the pool ball would move with a constant velocity (assuming elastic collision). So the numbers would be equally spaced.
