The group elements are the elements of group 1 ,2 and 13 to 18 . It's properties are studies in two manner . 1. along the period 2. along the group.

Different properties vary in different manner .

Atomic radius decreases from left to right across a period due to increase in effective nuclear charge .

The number of valence electrons increases from left to right across a row i.e. group 1 has 1 Valence electron, group 2 has 2 Valence electrons and group 13 has 3 Valence electrons and so on .

Electronegativity also increases from left to right across a row . Fluorine is the most electronegative element of all the elements of row 2. This shows that electronegativity increases.

Effective nuclear charge also increases from left to right across a period .

So option B,C,D are correct.
