This is an example of cluster sampling. All the students at Brockport are clustered under different heads based on their subjects. Now randomly the cluster of Statistics students is selected. After that all the statistics students are asked to fill out a survey. Based on the data collected from these students we are going to describe the "typical Brockport college student". Hence this is an example of cluster sampling.
