Question
I’m supposed to label each peak with the correct letter but I’m struggling to understand it. I’m not sure if I’m doing these correctly. I don’t know how to do the 13C NMR. Also how would I calculate the IHD?

Problem H: CaH,Br IR: Medium stretch at 3100 cm and 1650 cm 10 MS: parent ions at 134 and 136; base peak at 55 240+ 2- H NMR

Answer #1

The answer is given in the attachment .

Here , just you remember , our target proton , as much as it exposes , that means as much as it's electron density is faint , than indicates higher chemical shift (ppm) value ...

One more thing , the double bond increases the ppm value in high extend .

Here , I have given values besides proton or carbon , that you can know , which nucleus represents which peak . Also the predicted structure is given .

1-H NMR

Structure CH31,06 6.04 H 6.25 PPM 1-H NMR

13-C NMR

1162 CH3 13:3 120 100 86 60 46 20 PPM
