Answer #1

Condensation is opposite process of vaporisation,.

So, heat is released here.

Q = -mass * Hvap

= -9.00 g * 2.26 KJ/g

= -20.3 KJ

Negative sign shows heat has been released.

Answer: 20.3 KJ, released
