Class: ACCT-301 - Week 2 Discussion Board.
Think about your last trip to the grocery store. What type of internal controls do you think the store has in place to prevent employee theft?
Internal Controls by the store
1.CCTV cameras are installed and constant monitoring is done to
immediately find out any instance of theft.
2. An employee of the store always attends customers and he gives
the required product and customer can't touch the product without
involving the store boy. Hence onus is on the store boy and not on
the customer in case of theft.
Please Discuss in case of Doubt
