Public health surveillance - it is a collection of health-related data and events, its analysis and interpretation which is very important for making strategical planning to improve public health care.

Example - population surveys, Disease Surveillance

Syndromic Surveillance - Syndromic Surveillance means to monitor or evaluate the health of an individual in a specific community.

Example - Novel Coronavirus Outbreak surveillance in Wuhan city

Reportable and notifiable diseases - It refers to some communicable disease which required frequent data of distribution and individual cases for making disease prevention strategies or implementing prevention strategies.

Example - Cholera, Novel Coronavirus infection

Registry - It is a type of register maintained by public health or health care organization that gives the data about a specific disease or a public health event.

Example - Tuberculosis register
