How would you use the information you learned when working with your future patients in an online environment?

The information we learn from an online environment is very essential as we get updates or knowledge from many patients, carers and physicians on any disease condition. When we come across any patient in the future with any disease condition, we can review past cases and proceed accordingly with that case.

Online environment information is very useful as we get aware of the recent trends or updates in the treatment of a particular disease. Also if we do not have the knowledge of the case we can ask questions online and anyone will answer it if they have seen a similar case scenario.

Discuss the electronic medical record (EMR), telehealth, and one other form of online patient data or communication

EMR (Electronic Medical Records) - EMR stands for Electronic medical records, which are the digital equivalent of paper records, or charts at a clinician's office. EMRs typically contain general information such as treatment and medical history about a patient as it is collected by the individual medical practice.. These are the readily available data of any patient on their disease condition online. These electronic medical records are very useful for different reasons like research, patient's history of health and employment of any individual. These records make it easy for health care providers to relates to other patient records and solve health related or disease related problems easily.

Telehealth - Telehealth is the use of digital information and communication technologies, such as computers and mobile devices, to access health care services remotely and manage your health care. These may be technologies you use from home or that your doctor uses to improve or support health care services.

Doctor - Patient communication Apps - We have few applications that have been developed by the IT technicians at hospitals. These apps make it easy for the patient and doctor to have conversations or share alerts on any particular incident related to their case or health issue. Once assigned with a doctor at the hospital the hospital will give the patient access to that app so that the patient can directly relate to the doctor and vice-versa. The use of this app would bring good relationship between doctor and patient.
