Higher the oxidation state of metal in complex compound , higher will be the stability of complex compound .

More the coordination number , more will be the thermal stability of complex compound .

The ligands forming a ring (i.e. di, tri, tetra etc dentate ligands) with central metal , also have more stable complex compound called chelate effect . ( Formation of such compounds are entropy driven ) .

Co(en)33+ complex ions is thermodynamically most stable among the given ions .
