1) The research question is the average of the score 1 and score 2 are different or not.

2) Hypothesis

H0: mu1= mu2

H1: mu1=! mu2

3) alpha= 0.05

Here we get value=0.072 > 0.05

Hence fail to reject H0 .

Cohen's d= mean2-mean1/pooled s.d

d= 21.82-15.18/8.1892

d=0.8108

Interpretation: This shows that two group means do not differ by more than 1-0.8108=0.1891 standard deviation.

95% confidence interval is (-13.92 ; 0.65)
