Note: The complete frequency table should have 8 columns (relative frequency and cumulative relative frequency included). You can draw the graphs on a piece of paper and either scan it or take a photo of it and submit it with the other questions.

Answer #1

Class width =(maximum value-minimum value)/number of classes =(11-0)/4 =11/4 =2.75 - rounding it to next integer, class width =3

LCL =lower class limit; UCL =upper class limit; LCB =lower class boundary and UCB =upper class boundary.

LCB =LCL - 0.5 (here)

UCB =UCL+0.5 (here)

Mid point =(LCL+UCL)/2 Or Mid point =(LCB+UCB)/2

The complete frequency table:

120 A B 6 Class Class limits Class boundaries Mid point Frequency Cumulative frequency Relative frequency Cumulative relative frequency 3 2 10-2 (-0.5)--2.5 2.5-5.5 3 6--8 5.5--8.5 4 9-11 8.5-11.5 5 5+8-13 13+18-31 31+5 36 0.1389 0.2222 0.5000 0.1389 1.0000 0.1389 0.1389+0.2222-0.361:1 0.3611+0.5000 0.8611 0.8611+0.1389-1.0000 4 2 3--5 18 6 10 7 Total 36

Frequency histogram graph:

On X-axis: Classes

On Y-axis: Frequencies

20) 18 15 e 10 -0.5 2.5 5.5 8.5 11.5 Histogram (Frequency Diagram)

So, the anxiety scores for half of the 36 random clients(i.e, 18) are between 5.5 and 8.5 (including 5.5 but excluding 8.5).

Frequency polygon:

ugnY mid -points, each class Fseency rulrgo 0) 18 73 1o 5 3.9 10 11 mid-δ0i.ds

Cumulative frequency ogive:

On X-axis: Classes

On Y-axis: Frequencies

Cumulative relative frequency ogive:

ogive 0. 8 6 o to 如 o.20 0,5 2.S
