Weight, W = mg = 5000 x 9.8 = 49000 N

Weight on each leg = W/4 = 12250 N

Pressure, P = 12250/(pi x (0.45/2)^2) = 77.02 kPa

B)

Weight, W = (74 x 9.8/2) = 362.6 N

P = 362.6/(250 x 10^-4) = 14.5 kPa
