The above statement is true.

As for general case minimum body weight of a human can be 30-35 kg and maximum body weight of a human body can be 100 kg ( In normal case) . So distribution the width of the distribution curve is not more than 70-80 kg and average body weight of maximum person will be 60-65 kg Where will be the peak resides. Where as for polymers molecular weight variation can be from 100 Dalton to 100000 dalton. So width of curve is much higher. For general case distribution is also very wide. As it is very hard to control the molecular reactions and collisions between them which causes high distribution of such molecular.

But there is an exception also for bio polymers the molecular weight distribution is very narrow.
