Answer: MBA- Maters in business administration is a degree program that makes us financially independent. It is usually a two years full time regular course. Some institute provide correspondence course also that may be one year also. Part time MBA programs are also available. Minimum qualification to do MBA is graduation in any stream. We learn many practical aspects of business transactions, business laws, corporate actions, trade, finance, financial markets, international trade, currencies etc. We learn the corporate culture and we become corporate ready after doing MBA. We get good jobs with higher packages, we can start out own business also after MBA. We can become freelancer, adviser, manager, executives, officers, professor etc. after MBA. One can become his/her own personal financial adviser. MBA is a mode of learning and earning.
Economics- It is a study of production, consumption and distribution of goods and services. Economics is of two types Macro and Micro. Economics helps people learn and understand business, markets, Government policies, monetary policies, economic conditions of the country, inflation and interest rates. After learning economics, we become able to evaluate the alternatives and choose the best alternative. It develops critical thinking and problem solving techniques. Economics tell us the optimum utilization of available resources by considering the opportunity cost of capital. Economics is no more bookish, it is implemented in the practical world. People are getting good jobs after doing masters in economics.
