Answer #1

Given:

Pi = 1.82 atm

Pf = 0.850 atm

Vi = 128 mL

Vf = 135 mL

Ti = 213.0 oC

= (213.0+273) K

= 486 K

use:

(Pi*Vi)/(Ti) = (Pf*Vf)/(Tf)

(1.82 atm*128 mL)/(486.0 K) = (0.85 atm*135 mL)/(Tf)

Tf = 239 K

= (239 - 273) oC

= -34 oC

Answer: -34 oC
