The diabetes has been managed by diet throughout the pregnancy. The patient also has diastasis recti that occurred three weeks ago, which has kept her at bed rest since that time. PNL: O positive, rubella immune. PE: AVSS. Abdomen FH 40 cm, EFW 3800-4000 grams. Cervix is closed/50%/-3/post/ceph. Plan is for Pitocin induction with epidural at the beginning of active labor. Progress Note: 02/28 09:15 Patient is having uterine contractions every 3-8 minutes. Cervix is 1 cm/100%/floating. Patient desires not to start Pitocin yet. Feels that she is in labor. FHR reactive, baseline 120's with accelerations. Progress Note: 02/28 19:25 Patient's uterine contractions have resolved. Cervix unchanged.
