In what ways are arguments for and against PrEP similar to those used when discussing hormonal contraception? PrEP referfs to pre exposure prophylaxis , its a prophylaxis used for people who donot have HIV and are risk of exposure to HIV patient.prophyllaxis include a pill of TRUVDADA daily.Truvada is a combination of tenofovir and emtricitabine used in combination .As per studies and researches , proved the chance of protection against unprotected sex with HIV patient  is 99% and through injection is 74%.

Hormonal contraceptoives help prevent conception and PrEP are safe to use.along with HC. The main side effect od PrEP are its immunosuppression , kidney problem and liver problem which may follow after long term use of PrEP medication.
