The criteria for claiming the child credit as s dependent is that the child's atleast half if the total financial support in the financial year is met the tax payer and no other tax payer is claiming credit in the name of child.

Living completely with thr child, age and income of the child doesn't matter in this case to claim the credit as per the latest IRS regulations.
