Answer #1

1st calculate the total pressure

Use:

P*V = n*R*T

P = (n/V)*R*T

= 0.150*0.0821 * 335

= 4.126 atm

= 4.126*101.33 kPa

= 418.1 kPa

Mole fraction of He = 3/4

So,

Partial pressure of He = P * Mole fraction of He

= 418.1 *(3/4)

= 314 kPa

Answer: 314 kPa
