Answer #1

All the drugs given in the choice are used to treat hypertension.

Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker, by blocking calcium channel, it relaxes blood vessels and decrease the vascular resistance, thereby decreases blood pressure. But this vasolialating response will counterbalance by increasing heart rate and stroke volume. So amlodipine increases the heart rate

Verapamil also a calcium channel blocker. It relaxes blood vessels and heart, thereby reduces blood pressure. When it relaxes coronary vessels, it decreases oxygen demand of the heart. It also increases the refractory period, thereby decreases heart rate.

So, verapamil decreases the heart rate.

Furosamide is an loop diuretics. It enhances water excretion by the kidney and reduces the blood pressure

Eplerenone is an potassium sparing diuretics which reduces the BP without affecting heart rate

So, answer is Verapamil
