Question

(1) The following diagram shows a simple circuit with a power supply and a resistor. A student measured the voltage V across the resistor and the current I going through the resistor as V ± δν = 11.8 ± 0.2 V and 1 ±81 = 35.4 ± 0.6 mA. Calculate R and δR, and record in the format R+8R (units). E,-12V resistor Power source current

Answer #1

Using ohm's law

V=IR

R=V/I. Here V=11.8 V. I=35.4 mA=0.0354 A

R=11.8/0.0354

R=333.3 ohm

we know that

Here Sv = o.LV V= )).gv 2333.352 11.8 3s.tmA = o, o.34-X 333.3
