2)The major structure of rectum are as following

Rectum is the last portion of the colon and excretory opening is the end portions of the rectum or the gastrointestinal tract.Usually the anorectal line separates these two parts.The average length of rectum is nearly 10_15cm

3)The patient has to be placed in for digital rectal examination being a simple medical procedure. The excretory opening to be exposed completely for examination

4)The following health promotion concept to be explained to the patient are regular screening examination for any anorectal cancer,prostrate cancer, colorectal cancer.
