Sample proportion \hat{p} = 55 / 241 = 0.2282

Test statistics

z = (\hat{p} - p ) / Sqrt (p ( 1 - p) / n)

= (0.2282 - 0.20) / Sqrt ( 0.20 ( 1 - 0.20) / 241)

= 1.09

This is test statistics value.

p-value = P(Z > z)

= P(Z > 1.09)

= 0.138 (From Z table)

Since p-value > 0.01 level, Do not eject H0.

Fail to reject H0, There is not sufficient evidence to warrant support of the claim that more than
