And Thomas Jefferson, even though he was a great statesman, was also a politician. But nobody can pIease a constituency without, at Ieast on some occasions, using evasive language."

There are circumstances the politicians often or may be in a position to use evasive language in order to please a constituency .This can occur when they or their party is criticized for some deeds or acts and the politicians is aware of the truth behind it .In order to protect their party and self respect evasive language are in a place to be used by politicians hence the claim is often considered to be true but at the same time there are also equal chance for being false
