* Bleeding

        It is the flow of blood from a broken blood vessel as a result of rupture or injury.

        Eg. Bleeding from nose due to rupture of blood vessels of nasal cavity.

* Shock

        It is a life threatning condition which occurs due to inadequate suppply of nutrients and oxgen

        to cells of the body to meet the demands of body.

         Eg; Cardiogenic shock occurs when hearts ability to contract and pump blood is impaired

                result in inadequate supply of oxygen to the tissues of the body.

* Tourniquet

           It is a compressing device used to control blood flow though the arteries and veins

           of a part of an extremity.

             Eg; Heath care providers use tourniquet when taking blood.it helps to distend vein

                    below the level of tourniquet by restricting venous return to heart.

*Splint

     It is a type of rigid material used to immobilize and support fractured or dislocated bone

     when it has been set.

         Eg; Finger splint used to when there is a need of immobilize small joints of finger.

* Wound

       It is an injury which caused by a impact or cut to living tissue.

        Eg; Surgical wound due to surgical incision.

* Abrasion

      It is a type of superficial damage which occurs due to wearing away or scraping.

       Eg; Abrasion of knee due to a cut with a knife.

* Laceration

        It is a type of wound which occurs due to deep cut or injury.

            Eg; A laceration wound in the abdomen due to blunt trauma.

* Bites

     It is a wound caused by animal's teeth.

      Eg; Dog bite,snake bite

* Hemorrhage

      Hemorrhage is the blood loss from the body due to rupture or injury of blood vessels.

       Eg; Cerebral hemorrhage due to rupture of cerebral vessels.

* Hemophiliac

      It is a person who affected with hemophilia (A blood disorder in which blood not clot normally).

       Eg; A person with hemophilia A due to deficiency of factor 8 (anti-hemophilic factor).

* Artery

     It is a blood vessel which carry blood away from the heart to other areas or part of the body.

    Eg; Aorta is the largest artery which carry blood from heart to other areas of the body.

* Perfusion

    It is the flow or passage of fluid from circulatory or lymphatic system to other tissues or organs

    of the body.

      Eg; Cerbral perfusion is the blood flow into the brain tissues from blood vessels of brain.
