Ans:- Basic actions of pril, lol, ACE and ARB is to reduce blood pressure.

Action of pril:- for example captopril is a oral drug and member of class of drug called angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor. ACE inhibitors are the medications that slow the activity of enzyme ACE and decrease the production of angiotensin 2. As a result blood vessels enlarge or dilate, and blood pressure is reduced.

Action of lol:- for example labetalol, it is both alpha blocker and beta blocker. It works by blocking the action of certain natural chemicals in the body sach as epinephrine on the blood vessles and heart. It lowers the blood pressure, heart rate and strain on the heart.

Action of ACE:- ACE inhibitor decrease the formation of angiotensin 2 which leads to widening of blood vessels, and thereby reducing blood pressure.

Action of ARB:- This medication is used to treat elevated blood pressure. This medication blocks the action of angiotensin 2 by preventing angiotensin 2 from binding to angiotensin 2 receptors on the muscles surrounding the blood vessels.
