Answer #1

Patient has an inspiratory flow 45 L/min, tidal volume 625 mL. what is the inspiratory time?

Solution :- Given that,

inspiratory flow =45 L/min

tidal volume = 625 mL= 0.625 L

Formula :

Inspiratory time = (tidal volume / inspiratory flow)

Inspiratory time =(0.625/45) =0.01388 min = 0.8328 sec

Inspiratory time=0.8328 sec
