Child hood is refers to the period between the infancy and adult hood .in common terms ,child hood is considered to start from birth and as a concept of play and innocense ,which ends at adolescence .

characteristics :

child hood period is very precious ,here child try to adapt with our environment .

  • Children have simple concept of social and physical reality .
  • develops concept of necessory for every day living .
  • develops conseience ,morality and scale of values
  • achieves personal independence
  • develops attitudes toward social groups and instituitions .
  • they have innocence .
  • they dont know about society .
  • they satisfy for simple needed things .
  • they wont have maturity as adults .
  • learn the physical skills nessory for games .
  • they wont have psychological stability.

how changes in culture,media ,family life related to change in the concept of child hood :

In culture : there are considerable individual differences in children earlt dispositional characteristics ,such as how they react to challenging situations and their ability to regulate behavioural and emotional reactions .

- some children have the poor coping mechanisms with the environmemmnt due to change in our society .

- in the past days children are allowed to play in outdoor games and they use to mingle with the other children and make the adaptations to situations .but now a days ,the children are very sensutive and they wont be adjusted to situations .and they are getting negative attitudes and behaviours with asimple reasons .

- and they are go in to depression for simple things .

changes in education :

schooling hs direct effect on children educational achievement ,and their aquisition of literacy ,numeracy and scientific knowledge .

- education have the positive impact on child emotional and behavioural outcomes ,including long term reductions in criminal behaviours .

- eduvation plays main role in moulding of the children ,if the children is achieving success in academic point of view automatically it shapes the children behaviour to positive way .

- now days the education has treatment importance to control the negative behaviour of children .and also jas the negative impact such as some children may go in to depression due to low academic performance and they are feeloling more burden to study .

- because now a days ,from the schooling itself have the psychological stress to cjoldren ,and they prone to get psychological problems .

changes in media :

- media has the treatment importance in the change in the behaviour of children ,because of media and intenet wil not allow child to play the out door games .due to this they are sitting in room and playing indoor games .

- another way ot improves the choldren awareness on society .

some children will addict to media or internet due to this choldren academic performance will be low.

changes in family : family plays main role in tjis ,choldren are the people who get habits as parents .

if the parents are following good events ,the children will grow in that way ,if any disturbance in the family such as broken families ,divorced family,domestic voilence family may impact on child development .

- children imitates the people such as fathers ,mothers ,grand parents as well ,if the child growing in good environment,his life will be happy.

Today how our children are pushed too fastly from childhood to adult hood :

due to increasing needs of the people because of changing of trnds in our society .

- children are facing problems with elders such as humiliations ,negligence and hurting the children .

- children who doesnot have parents ,those are not enjoying their childhood. They going for labor and getting other antisocial activities such as stealing ,gambling ,etc .

- due to changing trends ,children are more attractive to that changing trends so they are voming to adult hood fastly .

- some others due to poverty also .
