Answer #1

Available dose of calcium gluconate 15%w/v means 100 ml solution contains 15 gm of calcium gluconate

ordered dose 30 mEq of ca gluconate

there is 46.5 meg ca gluconate  in 1 gm of cal gluconate

therefore 30 meq will be in 1/46.5 *30= 0.65 gms of cal gluconate

as per available dose for 15gms of ca gluc we need 100 ml

0.65 gm will be in 100/15 *.65= 4.3 ml

so 4.3 ml of cal glu 15%w/v will be required.
