Lasix is a diuretic it also otherwise known as a water pill, it stimulates the kidneys to increase secretion of urine to rid the body of excess sodium and water, By reducing the extra body water it decreases the preload and which decrease the workload of the heart and decrease sodium also reduces blood pressure.
