A juice bottling company is carrying out a test at 10% significance that the mean population weight of liquid in the bottles is 8.5 ounces versus the population mean weight deviates from 8.5 ounces. The CEO believes the true mean weight is 8.4 ounces. The CFO believes the true mean weight is 8.6 ounces. Will the CEO and the CFO ill get different type I errors from conducting this test? Why or why not?

Type I error for both CEO and CFO will be same because type I error is the significance level of the hypothesis test and in both the cases it is 10% or 0.1
