The real GDP per capita in US is higher than almost all other countries in the world. What do you think may be some major reasons for the US GDP per capita to be higher?

The US has natural geographical barriers that allow it to concentrate most of its military efforts on interests beyond its borders, making it more concerned with defending economic interests than with security concerns. Surrounded by sea and rivers for fast shipping / trade access. It has plenty of forest, coal, timber trees, silver, and other natural resources, and where the colonists take advantage of them rather than a corrupt government or tyrant, as in many of the country's resource-poor ones.

During the time of the British Empire, the strength of British innovation from the industrial revolution had made it the best technology of the time, and it remained closely linked scientifically to Europe's sharing of advances. People are free to move to states where the industry works and the laws and conditions that suited them. The U.S. took advantage of WW2 by selling supply while many, if not most, European countries have been debited by the war. Those who remained neutral now tend to be some of the richer countries in Europe.

Because of its favorable business environment, there are plenty of prospects in the US. Great companies such as Apple, Microsoft, IMB, Boeing, Lockheed Martin and so on are dominated by the United States.
Govt. Govt. Have limits of your own and don't cross them. It allows people to take policies and goals openly to a degree. This therefore opens up more opportunities for people to reach untapped regions.
The programs of health and education are top notch. This creates capital for human beings. That's why you see a lot of American scientists, scholars, thinks. This is explained by the honorable cost over the years.
